Limited soft openings for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train resume this morning

Following on from yesterday's first soft openings of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, more limited previews have taken place this morning.

Park guests were let into the queue at around 11:10am for rides, and the queue was then swiftly closed about 5 minutes later. Based on the last two days, it now seems that soft openings may occur at any moment, so expect to see them become more frequent and for longer periods.

Sure. I doubt that the MK in general will be "chaotic" today, however. The 7DMT will certainly have a long line and Ann & Elsa will have their standard massive wait, but I would guess you could walk around the rest of the park and it would be a typical day for late May.

I really hope you are kidding

It probably will be bad today because it was advertised as the opening date and the FP line will be filled to capacity which will make the standby line move VERY slowly.

novawildcat18May 28, 2014

You think it's going to be that bad? Even though it's been basically fully open for the past couple of days?

Today is opening day. From 9:00, expect chaos in MK. If you happen to be at WDW today, please, for your own safety, don't go to MK. Thank you.

I find it highly disappointing annual pass holders didn't get to preview the attraction. Everest had a great pass holder preview. We even got a free collectors pin. It was a really nice perk.

...and they all lived happily ever after. THE END

I think you mean <1 day. But I readily admit that I hate the maths. (SIC)

ok, we are at >1 until opening of the final piece that is headed to NFL, can we close some of these threads and demote this to the main page and promote the hub work to a catagory itself?

The CM for our Keys to the Kingdom tour wouldn't officially say, but he kept telling us, it might be open that day (we went Sunday) because one of the guests kept asking that question. And it was.

They did a soft open this past weekend. We just happened to wander by, saw people riding (you cannot hear the cars on the tracks - it is very quiet), heard the screams of delight and made a mad dash to the ride. The standby time was 2 hours, but it only took us an hour.

My wife and I with our four little ones got a baby swap pass Friday night during the 24 hour event. I'm sure they would still be doing it especially since others have posted actually being able to get regular fast passes today.

For those interested, my family scored 4 fastpasses for 8:05 tonight. Official opening is tomorrow of course. I was told at a kiosk that availability may come and go and if available, would be so at kiosks and apps and to just keep trying. She also told me the ride had already halted twice today and fastpasses would be limited to maybe 20 per hour if at all. We kept trying on the phone sporadically for an hour or so. It kept saying there was a problem processing it. Then when going to try one more time, we realized we already had it. Nice surprise. Now we will see if actually get on.

Yes. I witnessed a CM checking heights and giving out baby passes
