Walt Disney Imagineering has filed a new permit for an upcoming project in Fantasyland at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
The permit's location points to Storybook Circus and describes it as "Installation of show sets." (Thanks to danlb_2000 on the WDWMAGIC Forums for locating the permit)
The permit has been assigned to Themeworks Inc., a frequent Imagineering vendor, which recently worked on Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT.
Although the permit does not reference any specific project, it is likely for the previously announced 'Smellephants on Parade.'
At 'Smellephants on Parade,' guests entering Storybook Circus will find a casting call from Timothy Q. Mouse, seeking out a "Whiff-sistant" to join Dumbo's newest act. At the ticket booth in front of Big Top Souvenirs, Cast Members will provide a map and sticker sheet to guide guests in their training.
"Whiff-sistants" in training will explore Storybook Circus to find a number of Smellephants statues, each with a unique, circus-inspired fragrance - popcorn being one of them.
Scentsy has also become the sponsor of the Dumbo attraction as part of the multi-year partnership.
In 2021, Scentsy entered into a multi-year relationship with the Walt Disney World Resort, which included a new experience in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom, an exhibit at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, and becoming the Official Home Fragrance of Walt Disney World.
