Hong Kong Disneyland has announced that it will close again on July 15 due to rising cases of COVID-19.

Although Hong Kong Disneyland will close on July 15, the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hotels will remain open with adjusted levels of services.

The resort reopened to guests on June 18, and was the second Disney resort reopened following Shanghai. Hong Kong has reported approximately 40 new cases which has prompted authorities to enforce the closure. Meanwhile in Florida, more than 15,000 new cases were reported on Saturday.

Here is the full statement from the Hong Kong Disneyland website:

If they are able to react so promptly they won't be in the red after 15 years of operation. The new social distancing measures were just announced by the government at 8pm hkt today and I don't expect an official announcement from the the local Disney management until next morning. Edit:

I found something from CNBC that seems to have an official statement of some sort... https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/13/hong-kong-disneyland-to-close-july-15-as-coronavirus-cases-spike.html

Nothing they themselves posted. But HK is going back to a semi-lockdown with no gatherings for 4 or more people, which obviously affects HKDL. Reliable news sources have confirmed with the company. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-hongkong-disneylan/disney-to-shut-hong-kong-disneyland-again-as-coronavirus-cases-rise-idUSKCN24E21L

I don't see anything from Disney confirming this. Are there any better, more official sources than Twitter yet?

According to local news, HKDL will close from July 15 until further notice. The hotels that are open right now, namely the Disneyland Hotel and the Explorers Lodge, will remain open with adjusted services. Meanwhile Ocean Park will be temporarily closed from July 14-21 and could be extended if the situation continues to worsen.
