Disney has cancelled EPCOT Forever and changes will be made at Magic Kingdom's 'Happily Ever After' for July 6 2021 as Hurricane Elsa continues its advance towards the west coast of Florida.

Effects from Elsa are expected to be felt overnight, and Disney has taken the decision to cancel the show for this evening.

In addition to canceling EPCOT Forever, the Magic Kingdom's firework show 'Happily Ever After' will be modified with reduced rooftop fireworks and no flight of Tink.

Fireworks at Walt Disney World only made a return less than a week ago, with shows at both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom debuting July 1.

Happily Ever After ran as normal. No Tinkerbell as expected. It's only sprinkling at times and the wait times are non existent for most rides. Perfect night to be in the Magic Kingdom.

Just watching a stream, show appears 100% intact tonight. Wonder if storm hasn't progressed much yet? Perhaps they expected it to be worse by showtime for Epcot Forever.

EPCOT Forever was cancelled because of the proximity of pyro to guests. HEA will likely be modified to exclude the in-park pyro (launched on and aside the castle), unless conditions worsen. The main pyro is launched a considerable distance away from guests. If you're going, I'd be prepared for a delay or perhaps even a slightly early start time. edit: Looks like Steve beat me to it with his news post regarding HEA. :)

Just got back from DHS. Actually seemed busier than earlier in the week. We’re going to take the skyliner over to DHS around 6 tonight to try to ride Slinky. Dark sky isn’t showing rain until later tonight so fingers crossed.

From Busch Gardens Tampa: Due to the anticipated impact of Tropical Storm Elsa, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will close at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 6 to ensure the safety of our ambassadors, guests and animals. At this time, the park is expected to open at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 7. Updates to the operating schedule will be communicated as needed.

Typical spotty afternoon showers right now. We're not adjusting our evening plans just yet, gonna play it by ear.

Elsa: The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I've tried Don't let them in, don't let them see Be the good girl you always have to be Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know Well, now they know Let it go, let it go Can't hold it back anymore Let it go, let it go Turn away and slam the door I don't care what they're going to say Let the storm rage on Gee, thanks.
