Extended Evening Hours comes to Disney's Hollywood Studios this weekend minus 'Star Wars Rise of the Resistance'

Extended Evening Hours are back at Disney's Hollywood Studios for five nights this fall, starting Saturday, September 30, 2023.

The additional two hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios exclusively for Walt Disney World deluxe resort hotel guests features nine attractions, but surprisingly omits one of the most popular rides at Walt Disney World, "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance."

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will not be available during Extended Evening Hours

Disney recently expanded the benefit beyond EPCOT and Magic Kingdom with several evenings at Disney's Hollywood Studios on September 30, October 5, October 11, October 19 and October 25, 2023, the moving to Disney's Animal Kingdom in November. Extended Evening Hours are on hold at Magic Kingdom as the park enters the seasonal hard ticket event period.

In light of the After Hours at DHS on the 14th, that’s interesting that they decided to do EEH there. I know there’s also an After Hours at MK on the 11th, so they’ve “run out” of parks to use! I assume maybe it takes less CMs to staff DHS.

According to posted park hours, Extended Evening Hours on Monday, May 11, will be held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios instead of EPCOT. Also, on Wednesday, May 13, Extended Evening Hours will be at Disney's Animal Kingdom instead of Magic Kingdom. These EEH have really thrown off our planning…! We expected (and semi-planned for) EPCOT on Monday and MK on Wednesday, so have had to shift everything around. Hopefully back to normal the week after for our second week!

Lame that they are sending it to AK though, usually outside of Christmas the backup for MK is DHS.

Usually when one of the parks has a party of some sort they don’t do EEH during that week. Happens all the time with MK and Epcot.

The CM Celebration event is taking place the day before at MK, with MK closing at 4:30pm on Tues 27th. Could this be related? I think they usually do have another CM event but not the following night.
