Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom are on hold from late September 2023 as the popular resort guest benefit shifts from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

During September, Magic Kingdom will host Extended Evening Hours on Sep. 6, 13, and 20. September 20 is the last date scheduled for Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom.

Beginning September 30, Extended Evening hours will only be available at EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

During October, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place four nights per week, which may be the reason for halting the Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom. However, in 2022, the Extended Evening Hours continued throughout the Magic Kingdom party season.

This is October's latest Extended Evening Hours line-up:

Disney's Hollywood Studios (9pm to 11pm):

  • Saturday, September 30
  • Thursday, October 5
  • Wednesday, October 11
  • Thursday, October 19
  • Wednesday, October 25

EPCOT (9pm to 11pm):

  • Monday, October 2
  • Monday, October 9
  • Monday, October 16
  • Monday, October 23

It remains to be seen what will happen beyond October 25, which is currently the furthest date available on the operating hours calendar.

The Extended Evening Hours attraction line-up for October 2023 at Disney's Hollywood Studios features several headline attractions, but does not currently include Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Here is the full Extended Evening Hours attraction line-up for Disney's Hollywood Studios:

  • Alien Swirling Saucers
  • Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
  • Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
  • Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

  • Star Tours – The Adventures Continue

I love Epcot Evening hours, my trips are usually Tues-Mon I was seriously bummed out when they moved Epcot night from Tuesday to Monday. Knowing I get bonus time post Luminous to hit Guardians, TT, Frozen and if I’m lucky Remy one last time is great.

And then they'll say, "gee, I guess no one wants these evening hours at DAK. So, when DHS and MK are unavailable, I guess we will just run this twice a week at Epcot for all our wealthy guests looking to get on Living with the Land again."

Which kinda defeats the purpose, because if there is no where to eat, people will leave to go elsewhere ~ to eat!

They aren't really opening it late enough (even with this) for it to be dark. Agree on food, though. It's one thing to have less food at 11 pm, but at 6:30 pm, people want to eat.

This is great for AK, except - they should keep the food & drink choices open to match It’s a beautiful park at night.

Why isn't Tron open during Early Entry hours? "It's like gets off on being withholding." ~Buster Bluth

I don’t do AK Evening EMH, doing so requires me to choose between a night show or EMH, night show wins. Prefer any other park.

Ugh! This totally screws my plans…again! I wouldn’t care if the EEH actually extended later when the park is dark but given that it’s summer, that’s not happening. Just frustrating

Zero consolation for people visiting in June and first half of July.

Hard disagree on DAK. The animals are more active in the morning and this time of year, that extra hour is actually comfortable.

I assume part of the reason for AK opening so early is for the bus fleet. They can send a bunch of busses to AK for opening then shift them away from AK for the other parks opening.

I love AK early morning, the animals are more active, the park fills up slower and I can power through all the rides, see FotLK and Nemo and be off to another park by 2pm.

Parks should open 1 hour early for resort guests but they won’t do that because they still want to sell lightning lanes. They should also not open AK so early and all parks be consistent

This is making planning very difficult. I've already had to go back to the drawing board twice.
