Walt Disney World will be hosting two days of passholder previews for the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom a few days before the official reopening on July 11.

Weekday Select, Theme Park Select, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus and Premier Passholders will have the opportunity to register for a special preview at Magic Kingdom park or Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park on July 9 or 10. Email invitations with registration details will be sent out soon.

Reservations are required and limited, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. An eligible activated annual pass is required to register.

If a Passholder would like to register a Guest to accompany them, that Guest must also have a valid Weekday Select, Theme Park Select, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus or Premier annual pass, be listed on your Family & Friends list and have opted to share “All My Plans” with you.

You gotta hike from Villains/Heroes to the TTC - it's not THAT awful but I wouldn't want to do it mid-day

Yep here is the full rundown of transportation options: Transportation options during the theme park phased reopening at Walt Disney World

RiderJul 06, 2020

I received a reminder email about the AP previews and I noticed this: Tram service will not be available from the Guest parking lot to the main entrance of the theme park. (For Magic Kingdom park, there will be no tram service from the parking lot to the Transportation & Ticket Center, but the Express Monorail and the Ferryboats will be available from the Transportation & Ticket Center to main entrance). Not sure if that had been noted before.

Got the confirmation right at 11:07am.

11:05am: I get the email on my phone. 11:06am: I sign in 11:07am: I get my date and park. 11:11am: After sending a text to my sister, I print out the confirmation page. I still have yet to get a confirmation email but a friend of mine (@trainplane3) appears to have by texting me later: "I JUST saw the email..." so. Yeah.

Can someone in this thread post when they get their e-mail with the details on check-in for this event? I got my confirmation page, but never received confirmation e-mail, so guessing I prob won't get check-in details e-mail they send 3-5 days before. Thanks!

I know these events typically sell out this quickly but I wonder with the reduction in capacity it probably sold out even faster. I honestly feel bad because I know alot of people reserved who have no intention on going.

If I had gotten a spot I was planning on taking off work. It sucks that 10-20 minutes was the difference.

disney4life2008Jun 29, 2020

Here is the other problem. For many of the people who got the email (ahem bloggers) they don't have jobs and have been waiting for this for weeks. So once it was posted on Twitter, the bloggers got a significant number of spots. I always find it hard to believe that is regular folk with jobs are sitting and can immediately sign up. I only saw it cuz I got a call otherwise I wasn't paying attention to my phone. And I am under the suspicion a lot of people signed up who have no intent on actually coming unless they get a hotel reservation. And for us Florida residents, we have to work in Thursday and Friday but I'm sure a significant number of locals got tickets. Specifically from the colleges.

I got the email and had no idea. Then about 12 minutes after it was sent, I got a call and say Disney destinations. I immediately hung up and got my preview for Friday, June 10. I am taking the day, magic Kingdom here I come!

I just received a notification from the app at 5:30pm. Thanks a lot, Disney!

I'm a local passholder (Tampa) but I'm really hoping they do this as well!
