Alongside today's price increases across Walt Disney World ticketing, dining, water parks, and parking, a new variable pricing model has been introduced for tours.

Most Walt Disney World tours are now priced by date, which in some cases is highly variable. In a few instances, you may get a better deal with the new date-based pricing, but in most cases it will now cost more than before.

For example, Magic Kingdom's Keys to the Kingdom Tour is now priced between $109 and $149 per person, depending on the date. It was previously a fixed price of $114.

Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom is now priced between $219 and $229, previously fixed at $199.

Here is a rundown of the latest price changes for Walt Disney World tours and experiences (excludes tax), effective October 11, 2023.

  • Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour - $109.65 - $149. (Was $114).

They need to bring back more tours - there are still a bunch missing. Not counting holiday tours either! (Notably some of the longer ones.)

That's been going on since 1971. ( ie lunch and dinner prices )

VIP makes sense. You are bypassing longer lines when it is more crowded. If Everest has an 80-minute wait, that has no impact on the Wild Africa Trek. They’re just charging more because they can.

While I hate to defend Disney price increases, haven't the VIP tours always been variable pricing? Why should the others be any different?

Demand usually drives pricing. Disney is busy re-inventing economics with their new model, where pricing will drive demand... downward.

Yup, God forbid if you had to save so much money to pay for parking spaces that you had to stay in a value instead of a deluxe…

TheMaxReboOct 11, 2023

Every spot - based on distance to the trams .... Which will also now have a fee Good news is the tram fee will be waived for deluxe guests (mid week only) You're welcome

Pay toilets…the higher the temperature, the more expensive the drinks…add more salt to the foods…(put that salt mine at Tiana’s to good use)…the hits just keep on comin’…
