  • La Cantina de San Angel
  • Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

It’s a Thursday. Lovely day. Disney cannot control weather: hot and raining in the afternoon. No crowds. No waits for attractions. Moments waiting in kiosk lines. All booths open (Spain, Alps, and Caribbean). Ducks and egrets very happy to see guests, including parking under the tables begging like dogs, no kidding. Live music in the Festival Center, and a wonderful way to help relieve guests during a hot summer season. Locals following rules at six feet enjoying each other’s conversations. (Went to New Smyrna yesterday and was horrified, and apologize to those locals if they are offended). The Central Florida Central Park was quite relaxing and a nice respite for the person stuck in a home office working virtually since March.

"An Orlando man struck an Epcot security guard when he was reminded to follow the theme park’s mask rules, an Orange County sheriff’s report says, the first known crime report involving such a confrontation at Disney World. Enrico Toro, 35, is accused of hitting the guard in the head and threatening to kill him, which led to Toro’s arrest Aug. 14, the arrest affidavit said. He is charged with misdemeanor battery and doesn’t have an attorney listed, Orange Circuit Court records show. “We expect guests to treat our cast members with courtesy and respect, and while the vast majority of guests have adapted to our new measures, this unfortunate case required law enforcement,” Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger said in a statement."

At least it's a confirmation that Rat and Cosmic are still underway.

I would love to have a table to myself and have them cook just for me. How fun would that be?! Will have to book for my Oct. trip.

Just got back, and Epcot felt empty for the most part. We're able to get a walk up table with immediate sit down at Napoli. We are around the world, and had that for actual lunch.

They will continue to limit attendance throughout the festival, which they're doing right now... because there is a festival in Epcot right now.
