Ratatouille construction aerial view

In the image above we have our first 2018 look at the Ratatouille construction site behind the France Pavilion at Epcot.

In this recently filed construction permit shown below, you can see the outline of the new building (the grey block), along with the new walkways and restrooms that will be located directly behind the existing Impressions de France building.

The Ratatouille attraction is expected to open in Spring 2020, although Disney is yet to offer any opening timeframe.

Gaudy! Yea, that's France. Will they have rat characters interacting with the guests (socially distanced of course)?

Note that he didn't mention which year!

Oh Martin, I see what you did there. The old If X=Y, and Y=Z, so X must equal March 19-June 20. Clever ;)

I prefer the Paris version -- this one is a bit gaudy for my tastes. Not saying it's bad, though. A middle ground between the two might be best for me, but between the two I prefer the simpler version. It reminds me more of an actual restaurant sign.

I think this is such a superior sign than the Paris original. Lots of added details and flourishes, and it features Remy in the sign which I really like. Sometimes imagineering does get it right.

Or, a two-spoon restaurant! ;)

I am sure the rat infestation has something to do with that. ;)

It's just a two-star restaurant!
