Guests visiting Walt Disney World can soon get an early look at scenes from the newest film from Walt Disney Animation Studios’: “Strange World.”

A special sneak peek of the film will be playing beginning tomorrow, Nov. 4, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Walt Disney Presents attraction. Sneak peeks of the film will also be coming soon to Disneyland Paris and Disney Cruise Line.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ original action adventure “Strange World” introduces a legendary family of explorers, the Clades, as they attempt to navigate an uncharted, treacherous land alongside a motley crew that includes a mischievous blob, a three-legged dog and a slew of ravenous creatures.

Helmed by Don Hall (Oscar-winning “Big Hero 6,” “Raya and the Last Dragon”) with co-director/writer Qui Nguyen (co-writer “Raya and the Last Dragon”), and produced by Roy Conli (Oscar-winning “Big Hero 6,” “Tangled”), 'Strange World' opens in theaters November 23 2022.

Ugh, was excited for this till I saw all the Raya people involved. That film was pretty awful with a very poorly developed world and story. I get it was probably partially a victim of covid production issues. Just a huge missed opportunity of a film.

In the near future... Bob - "We're abandoning all cinema releases from this day forward and everything only premiers on Disney+. Our consumer units want this type of in-home experience, and only the Disney brand can provide it."

It's tracking to open in the $20M-$30M range, which is pretty bad for a family animated film. https://www.boxofficepro.com/long-range-box-office-forecast-devotion-the-fabelmans-glass-onion-a-knives-out-mystery-and-strange-world/

Heck, Raya and the Last Dragon has almost zero presence at the parks (besides a Raya figure at the new MSEP finale and a topiary display for Disneyland Paris' 30th Anniversary). The lead character didn't even become a meetable character until sometime last year. Hopefully Disney's "Wish" movie might get better treatment since it's to celebrate Disney's 100th Anniversary. And the main protagonist and her goat friend would make for decent meetable characters someday.

I feel that this is the only tie in with the parks will be seeing for this film..
