The U.S. Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration team is scheduled to be flying over the Magic Kingdom on Thursday March 19 2015.

The 6 F/A-18 Hornet aircraft of the Blue Angels are expected over the park between 9am and 11am as the team continues on to the Melbourne Air and Space Show for performances. As always though, plans are subject to change with schedules and weather.

The Magic Kingdom has had a number of flyovers in the past, with the Thunderbirds last appearing back in 2010 as part of Air Force Week in Central Florida.

If anyone every gets a chance to go and see their airshow, go! They are amazing! My family and I always go to their homecoming show a Pensacola Peach, FL. Really awesome thing to experience in person!!!

If only they did a supersonic fly by. The broken windows around MK would be worth it.

Different aircraft designed to do different roles. The Blue Angels aren't as show performance as the Red Arrows. The subsonic speed of the Hawk allows that.

the thunderbirds and their lighter airframes can do some amazing things with a -16

All we need now is the Red Arrows to show them how to do it properly.........:happy::happy: now I'll run and hide....:D

These guys are Navy, it hits home - my Dad was a pilot in the Army Air Corp at the end of WW2 and my Hubz is Air Natl Guard - hence, this stuff always gives me chills and great pride. Thanks for posting. Made my night. :)

That is the beauty of thrust vectoring.

last airshow i attended the BA's were there instead of the TB's, but the real showstopper(since i live in a AFB town) was the flight demonstration of the F22. that thing did stalls and stunts that i have never seen over RAFB before... and i have seen some junk with the test pilots checking out repaired F15's...

I use to live on Commercial Bvld. across from Lockhart when I was a wee lad. Talk about seeing a lot of The Blue Angels =)
