Disney has released two new colors in the MagicBand line-up - black and teal.

Both are available only as part of a graphic design, with black being available in a Star Wars 40th Anniversary MagicBand, and teal in an Elsa design.

The black Star Wars MagicBand 2 is priced at $27.99, and the teal Elsa MagicBand 2 is priced at $22.99. The new bands are available at most MagicBand retail locations at Walt Disney World and on the Shop Disney parks app.

Unfortunately neither of the new colors are available in solid colors, or available as part of resort guest or passholder packages.

A rainbow band would be nice. I know plenty of people who would love to have one of those.

Slightly off topic...but wasn't it last summer that the BB8 bands were offered free of charge along with the regular colors? Any word if there will be something similar this summer?

Only Limited Edition MagicBands which currently retail for $32.99 will have special effects at the touch points.

When I look at the parks app they are both available for $27.99 but when I look at the actual web site only the frozen one is available and it shows $22.99. Seems kinda odd. Also does anybody know if some of the bands still offer "extra's" when hitting the touch points? Ie sounds and voices.

Good point. With our luck MB 3.0 or 4.0 wont by fit then :hilarious: I'm sorry with your puck your out of luck. Have a magical day.

The battery in the MagicBand 2.0 is in the center "puck" piece. You can swap a fresh battery puck into an existing band with a small screwdriver. It's the reason I never would have dreamed of ordering an original MB but will probably get a special 2.0.

Its been 6 years between trips. I don't see us getting back after this trip for a while. Wouldn't any long range uses for the band be dead by then? Battery wise?

I want teal to be a selectable colour for basic bands. So much.

CaptainAmericaApr 28, 2017

Why would you only use them for one trip? You can use them forever and always.

Both are available on the Shop Disney Parks app. -Rob

Wish you could pay the difference to upgrade to character bands. Can't justify $25 to $30 per band to only use them one trip.

How do I order this?

LieutLawwApr 28, 2017

I want that SW one !
