Disneyland Resort is set to host its second annual "Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite" on June 18 and 20, 2024, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community with a vibrant array of activities and entertainment.

This separately ticketed, $159 after-hours event at Disneyland park will feature rainbow projections, fireworks, a "Welcome Pride Cavalcade" with beloved Disney characters in multicolor outfits, themed food and drinks, and diverse dance parties including the "Pride Nite Dance Club" and the "Ohana Dance Party" led by Stitch.

Guests can also enjoy themed photo opportunities and special menu items, including these new items: Key Lime Pudding and Red Berry Sangria at River Belle Terrace, 5 Spice Popcorn Chicken at The Tropical Hideaway, Funnel Cake with Cereal Milk and Multi-Colored Marshmallow Cereal Topping at Stage Door Café and Firecracker Loaded Fries at Hungry Bear Restaurant. Specialty menu items will also be available at Cafe Orleans and additionally, Plaza Inn will offer a dining package which includes reserved viewing for both the fireworks and cavalcade. Reservations are recommended and can be booked online soon.

The event starts with a three-hour pre-party at 6pm, and ticket holders will benefit from shorter wait times for attractions, commemorative keepsakes, and unlimited digital PhotoPass downloads.

On April 9, 2024 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT), all Magic Key holders will have the opportunity to purchase Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite tickets from a select amount of pre-sale tickets on Disneyland.com. Then, on April 11, 2024 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT), Pride Nite tickets will go on sale to the general public, subject to availability.

If you're waiting in the online queue to purchase tickets, don't forget the new option to be digitally notified when it's your time to enter the ticket store. Once in the queue, choose the "notify me" option and enter your email address. You'll receive an email letting you know it's your turn

I don’t believe so, mostly a positive spirit, high energy, lots of rainbows. Stitch had a biker outfit, that was probably the most extreme thing I can think of

Does the Pride event have LGBTQ+ content or participants, or is it just Mickey's Colorful Rainbow Party? Would be nice if a portion of the ticket sales went to a local charity, or if the entertainment line up had performers from the community.

Is this a new up-charge event or first time? Nevermind, saw it's returning. Sounds like fun.

I don't even care about any of this but the fact only 3 of those are actually Disney Channel characters is crazy. Not even Phineas and Ferb despite there having been an upcoming new season. These parties are such a joke.

Good thing I didn't consider nabbing tickets, bc I was ready to be disappointed by the character roster for tomorrow and Thursday's Disney Channel Nite being basically a mix of Disney Afternoon stars like Darkwing Duck and movie turned shows that originated from Disney Channel like Lilo & Stitch and Rapunzel(who are all still awesome), rather than debuted a ton of characters from actual Disney Channel toons like The Owl House, The Ghost & Molly McGee, etc, with Kim Possible the only Disney Channel animated original that didn't originate from syndication or based on a movie to be meetable ICYMI: https://blogmickey.com/2024/02/character-lineup-entertainment-announced-for-disney-channel-nite-special-event/

Or their IT department sucks. It isn't that hard to scale enough VMs to handle demand. They got to stop using that Commadore 64 to process tickets.

VJFeb 26, 2024

demand. disney has too much of it, knott's and universal don't have enough of it

Looks like these events are not selling out, at least yet. Crazy they took out the fireworks from all of these which was a major selling point.

Seems strange that you have to wait 45 minutes to give Disney money. You should be able to just login and purchase tickets and be done in five minutes. It works that way for Halloween parties at Universal and Knotts. Why does Disney make it so hard to give them far too much money?

Got mine for April 25th. It went pretty smooth and took about 45 minutes all in.

There was none this Morning that I saw. Some reported times bounced up and down but didnt really effect the overall wait. Might of been due to people logging on thinking they could get tickets queueing up then being denied. Following some groups and chats Seems longest waits where under an hour initially. But if you logged in after an hour it was a lot less. Currently only April 16 and 23rd available so they did limit how many tickets they released today. It was right around an hour that May the 2nd sold out.

Anyone trying for tickets today? I have an Enchant, so my window is tomorrow, but was wondering if there were technical problems today.
