It is finally here Haunted Mansion fans - a dedicated gift shop dedicated to everyone's favorite classic Disney dark ride.
Memento Mori soft opened today at the Magic Kingdom in the former Yankee Trader location in Liberty Square.
The store offers a huge range of Haunted Mansion merchandise. You can find everything here, from T-Shirts, ties, iPhone cases, sculptures, figures, artwork, candy, posters, tableware - the list goes on. Pricing varies from a couple of dollars to some items in the hundreds, so there is something for every budget.
The location also offers a photo opportunity, where your "spirit" is captured, and printed onto a holographic images that changes depending on the angle viewed. The photo is captured in a separate room, with some great details (check out out in the gallery), costs $20 for the image in a cardboard frame. You can upgrade the frame for an additional cost. It really is an impressive image and will no doubt be very popular.
Memento Mori, being from another realm, is also more than just a shop. Keep an eye out for special effects taking place throughout the store. A number of the fixtures, mirrors and artworks take on a ghostly form if you have the patience.
The store is in soft opening, so may open and close at any time. An official opening is expected later next week.
