The merchandise in the store was great. It is about time they (Disney) put a dedicated gift shop for the best ride ever (sorry Pirates, you are now 2nd) where the old candle store was located.

Haunted Mansion merchandise is my all-time favorite and I have a problem. At least that is what my wife says. I want it all. However, as cool as the merchandise was, the fact that there was a line to get in the store was a bit ridiculous. If there wasn't a line, people may have just walked by and therefore no wait. But wait, we are in Disney, nothing, and I mean nothing, comes without a line these days.

Besides the line, I was hoping for a little bit more variety with the merchandise as well. I think this long of a wait for a Haunted Mansion gift shop should warrant some exclusive limited merchandise for the first few weeks or so. Then, and only then, could I understand a wait.

I hope that they work their kinks out and get customers in and out as soon as possible. While I know that there is a such thing as maximum capacity, I do not believe that Disney cares about that. The crazy long lines EVERYWHERE constitutes that.

Dear Disney, lines are not good for customers!!!!!
