Walt Disney World mask policy updated with more stringent requirements

Jul 27, 2020 in "The Walt Disney Company"

Disney has updated its mask policy for Walt Disney World to exclude more varieties of masks.

Face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind now join neck gaiters, and open-chin triangle bandanas as unacceptable.

Here are the full revised guidelines for masks at Walt Disney World taken from the official website.

All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:

  • Be made with at least two layers of breathable material
  • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
  • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
  • Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the Guest to remain hands-free

At this time, based on guidance from health authorities, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas, and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.

Sorry if this is a repeat post but October park hours extended for first 2 weekends.

"According to the Walt Disney World website, Chefs de France will reopen on October 8th for the lunch and dinner periods. There are no times currently listed on the Disney World website for any dates before October 8th." https://t.co/Jj9CddujXU?amp=1

That happens a lot even just with regular products that are able to be purchased cheaply....household goods, etc.

That's true also. Some savvy Brazil travelers even go to the Orlando outlets and buy in bulk then ship the products to Brazil for resale.

So is there a composite of average wait times across the days of the week? Seems like Saturdays/Sundays are by far the busiest but wanted to see which weekdays are usually the best to visit on

What's going on October 9-16 that DHS is blocked out to resort guests and ticket holders? But AP holders have availability at all parks October 13-15? I've never seen that before.

The people from the UK were well represented at the outlets as well. Talked to a couple that did the math to find the prices were a bargain for them even with the cost of getting it back.

Without the South American tourists ( i e. Brazil ) the Orlando outlet malls are not even worth operating. Most of their business is from them.

The Vineland outlet opened today.

Mrs. rowrbazzle took our daughter a couple years ago. She was just shy of her 3rd birthday so she was free. That seemed like a decent deal. Of course, our little girl was more interested in eating and coloring than taking pictures with the princesses (she feigned a swing at Aurora with her wand) so it wasn't quite the magical breakfast we envisioned. 😄 Maybe the two of them would go again sometime. Maybe. I don't see us ever forking over money for the whole family, though. I just can't stomach spending that much on a meal at Disney.
