United States travel restrictions for United Kingdom, Brazil and much of Europe renewed until further notice

Jan 25, 2021 in "The Walt Disney Company"

President Joe Biden has today signed an Executive Order to reinstate COVID-19 travel restrictions that had been scheduled by the previous administration to be lifted today.

In a White House press conference, press secretary Jen Psaki said, "On advice of our administration's medical and Covid team, President Biden has decided to maintain the restrictions previously in place for the European Schengen area, the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and Brazil. With the pandemic worsening and more contagious variants spreading, this isn't the time to be lifting the restrictions on international travel."

The travel restrictions will remain in effect until terminated by the President and will be be evaluated every month.

Restrictions on non-US citizens from Europe have been in effect since March 13 2020, and cuts off some of Walt Disney World major international visitor pools. In particular, guests from the United Kingdom and Brazil represent the largest non-US Walt Disney World market outside of Canada.

As the words and music of the late great Rasta himself Bob Marley instead of "No Woman No Cry " it will be " No Virus, No Cry ".

Liberal think tank? Have you read a post by @CaptainAmerica?

In all seriousness, why do you come back here? You seem to disagree with most regular posters and come across as looking to argue or put down. Tone can be hard to read so I am trying not to assume anything. You say yourself the level of antagonism increases when you post so I’m not clear on what the point of it is

They just announced it yesterday. They thought July was just a little too soon for an in person event like that. So virtual this year, and should be back to long lines hoping for tickets to Hall H next year.

Ok, I'm off to bed. I can't keep anything straight - no pun intended. The back and forth acrobatics may be the key to my sleep after all. :D
