New York, New Jersey, Connecticut to require 14 day quarantine for travelers arriving from Florida

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has today announced that with immediate effect, travelers to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut from states with high infection rates will need to quarantine for 14 days. 

The definition of states with high infection rates is 10 infections per 100,000 residents, which currently includes Florida along with Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, Utah and Texas.

Florida has had a similar directive in place for visitors from the Tri-State area since late March 2020, which remains in effect.
