Disney has rolled out a calendar update that sees operating hours at some of the Walt Disney World theme parks approach a more normal schedule.

Magic Kingdom will see a 9pm close on October 31, and most days in November have been extended to an 8pm close. Thanksgiving week will see a 9pm close.

At EPCOT, October 31 will have a 10pm close, and hours throughout November have been increased to a 9pm close, with Thanksgiving week having a 10pm close.

Disney's Animal Kingdom updates October 31 to a 7am opening, and the majority of weekends in November will see an 8am to 6pm operating day.

No changes are yet in place for Disney's Hollywood Studios, which continues to feel the most busy of all four parks.

And finally Disney Springs moves to an 11pm close at weekends beginning today.

Disney appears to be adjusting based on the continued increase in attendance that the parks have been seeing over the past month. Be sure to keep monitoring hours as they are continuing to change on a frequent basis. You can see the latest updates on our Walt Disney World operating hours calendar.

I'm part of the group who feels that all of the rides reach equilibrium without FastPass. There's no stop and go at the check points. One line feeding a ride will always be more efficient than two lines funneled into one choke point. The posted 'wait time' will serve as the controlling factor over standing in line is worth it or not. Local visitors will skip long lines, figuring that they'll always be able to come back when it's less crowded. This clears the way for the out of town folk who might only have one opportunity to visit.

With the longer hours, it's going to be much more crowded and Disney will have to do something to manage the crowds like FP+ because so many people will be in there at the same time. I wonder how much they'll up capacity for the holidays?

Definitely a move in the right direction. Now if they'd just increase HWS hours so they could cut back the congestion and increase the number of BGs for RotR they'd REALLY be cooking with gas! This helps me feel more confident about our upcoming trip. Of course, there's a lot of time between now and Spring Break, sooo.....🤞🤞🤞🤞
