Walt Disney World has announced adjustments to the operating hours at several theme parks, effective April 28 through May 11, 2024.

The changes include extended opening and closing times at Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. EPCOT hours remain unchanged from the standard 9 am to 9 pm.

At Magic Kingdom, the park's hours will extend by one hour in the evenings from April 28 to April 30 and again from May 1 to May 2, with the park closing at 10 pm instead of the planned 9 pm. The first weekend of May will see even longer hours, with the park opening at 8 am and closing at 11 pm on May 3 and 4. The extended hours continue sporadically throughout the following week, with closures at 10 pm on most days and at 11 pm on May 6, 10, and 11.

Disney's Animal Kingdom will open an hour earlier at 8 am and close up to an hour later at 7 pm on selected days starting April 28. The adjusted closing times continue through the first two weeks of May, with the park closing at 7 pm on May 3, 4, 10, and 11 and at 6 pm on other days.

Disney's Hollywood Studios will see its hours extended to 10 pm on May 2 and 3, an hour later than initially scheduled. On May 4, the park will open half an hour earlier at 8:30 am and close at the same extended time of 10 pm. The 10 pm closing time will also apply on May 10 and 11.

In addition to the extension to operating hours, the schedule is now available through June 22, 2024. View full Walt Disney World operating hours calendar.

Doesn't appear so. They generally post the hours 60-70 calendar days prior and do a final update 1-2 weeks prior. I think you're stuck with 10 pm closing, sorry!

Hi! New here. Will be in the park on Sunday June 30th and was curious if it is still possible for MK to be open until 11pm instead of the posted 10pm. Sunday June 23rd was open until 11pm, and Tiana's opens to all guests on the 28th, so I figured it would get that last hour tacked on but it hasn't happened yet. MK at night is my favorite, so hoping to get that extra hour after the fireworks.

I don't know if they ran Kali late when the part was opening late, but no one would be riding it. the animal trails closed as well. If/when you take Dinosaur off-line there really isn't enough to keep people there even with a night show. Getting Encanto, shifting Dinosaur to IJ (assuming it would be more popular) and getting a Lion King ride in addition to a new show replacing RoL would I think be enough to extend it to more normal park hours - but that's all probably 3+ years away.
