Disney has unveiled another sneak peek at some of the entertainment coming to Disney Hollywood Nights at Walt Disney World this holiday season.

"Holiday Fiesta En La Calle" will be one of the entertainment offerings featured at a brand new nighttime party, Disney Jollywood Nights, when it debuts at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Nov. 11 at Walt Disney World Resort

Located on Commissary Lane, guests will discover a holiday street fair filled with lively energy. Latin holiday music will fill the air as musicians play along the walkways.

Disney says warm lighting and colorful décor will give the street a vibrant feel as guests sip drinks and nibble treats inspired by Latin holiday traditions.

Disney Jollywood Nights takes place from 8:30 pm to 12:30 am, with ticket holders able to enter the park at 7 pm.

 

Ticket prices range from $159 – $179 per person, with a $10 discount available to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

Disney Jollywood Nights 2023 dates are:

November: 11 (sold out), 18, 20, 27, 29
December: 4, 6,16,18, 20

You'll be welcomed to Disney Jollywood Nights with a DJ spinning a mix of holiday tunes. Commissary Lane comes to life with a lively Latin Street Fair. Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy host a live holiday special at Theater of the Stars with some of their Disney friends. And … what's this? Hyperion Theater will host a spirited sing-along with Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie.

You will also encounter glitz and glamor at two limited-capacity entertainment experiences – a jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby and an other-worldly soiree at The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard.

"Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!" returns, featuring fireworks, special effects, and state-of-the-art projections.

The event also includes unique photo opportunities throughout the night:
Pose with friends for holiday-themed Magic Shots and two new Disney PhotoPass experiences throughout the night. Complimentary digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos captured during the event are included with the price of your ticket.

Meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the rest of the iconic gang in Animation Courtyard on a hot set with holiday props. Get into the spirit with your fave throwback friends like Powerline Max and Phineas and Ferb at Echo Lake and strike a pose with Edna Mode and chill with one of her super friends at Pixar Place.

Finally, event attendees will have after-hours access to favorite rides and coasters like Slinky Dog Dash, Rock N' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and more. (Star Wars: Rise of Resistance will use virtual queue during Disney Jollywood Nights.)

Agreed - this all seems terribly vague. In true modern Disney fashion, the most detail we've gotten was a ton of useless information about the backgrounds of the people in charge of planning it.

I feel like what they’ve announced is it. A few shows, a couple rare characters, the two lounges, and the DJ. No free snacks or drinks or anything like that. It feels strange and barebones, but they may feel they’ve already said all there is to say.

It's crazy to me they don't have a parade for this! The Studios lends itself perfectly to an nighttime tinsel town Christmas parade. Maybe something like the original version of Stars and Motorcars with the Citizens of Hollywood acting as commentators along the route. Oh well. Maybe they'll at least have a cavalcade.

It really is a lot of marketing puffery with pretty much nothing of tangible value I can discern. Such a beautiful park and setting, but I fear many guests will be disappointed. It would have been better to charge 50-75 more and GIVE more.

Glad I sat this one out to see how the 1st year goes.

Feels like a lot of people are taking the 'wait and see' on this one, including myself. Once the first one happens, I'll be more inclined to buy or sit it out.

I was literally going to buy tix after work tonight and they sold out for my day, November 18th… any luck to still score a ticket? I’ve read anecdotes where people have been able to get other hard tickets from

Serious question... what is the draw of this event to justify $179 tickets?

These offerings are somewhat similar to what Universal/SeaWorld offers as part of your daily park admission. I can't believe Disney gets away with this stuff.

I think it what theyre billing it as, basically multiple mini parties for adults, sounds great for my wife and I but I'm unsure about our two kids.We're interested in the soiree, Muppets show, and Nightmare Before Christmas singalong. If just two of us then, yeah, I think there are enough differentiators and it'd be fun for two of us to hang out. But for four us? I just don't know. The character experiences are either ones we've experienced or that my family doesn't care about (like Phineas and Ferb).

It's unclear how much of the unique stuff will be upcharged, like the Brown Debry thing and Hollywood Tower Hotel soiree, both both are referred to as "events." 4 hours here vs. 5 at MK, no included snacks nor drinks. No parade nor special fireworks (Jingle Bell Jingle Bam, something that was already for everyone, isn't special enough to hide behind a paywall). Nothing announced to pull people into Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land, crowds will be unbalanced and heavy where the limited experiences are located.

I really want to love the event. I hope it does really well, but I'd need to buy tickets to the most expensive date and because it's the third ever I'd need to take a leap of faith this date will likely sell out before reviews of the first event. I was at WDW for the first Villains After Hours and passed for similar reasons, and in hindsight it was a great event I was never able to subsequently experience.
