Kickstart the New Year with a refreshing twist! Dry January is an annual campaign initiated by Alcohol Change UK in 2013, encouraging people to take a break from alcohol for the month of January. This initiative aims to promote healthier drinking habits, which may lead to a reevaluation of alcohol's role in participants' lives.

As Dry January gains popularity, guests visiting Walt Disney World can find non-alcoholic beverage options that don't skimp on flavor and creativity. Several Disney Springs and EPCOT restaurants have introduced new mocktails that are as whimsical and enjoyable as their alcoholic counterparts. Here are some of our favorites:

Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs

Waitlist

A delightful blend of sparkling rosé lemonade mixed with the subtle floral notes of elderflower and a zesty lemon twist. This mocktail is a refreshing choice for those looking to enjoy a sophisticated, bubbly drink without the alcohol.

Pineapple Kick

For those who enjoy a bit of spice, the Pineapple Kick combines sweet pineapple, zesty orange, and a hint of jalapeño agave. It's a tantalizing option that adds an exciting kick to your beverage experience.

Space 220 Restaurant at EPCOT

Moon Rocks

A cosmic concoction of coconut, blue cotton candy syrup, and lemonade. Garnished with 'Moon Dust' and 'Moon Rocks,' it's a playful and visually stunning mocktail that'll transport you to the stars.

Planet Hollywood Disney Springs

Practical Magic

A magical mix of pineapple and orange juices, coupled with fresh lemon and lime, and a dash of grenadine. This mocktail is both vibrant and refreshingly tart, perfect for a Florida day.

Jaleo Disney Springs

Lotus

An elegant and refined choice featuring Seedlip Spice, London Essence White Peach and Jasmine soda, complemented by a hint of vanilla syrup. It's a sophisticated, subtly sweet mocktail with a floral aroma.

The Edison at Disney Springs

Smoke & Mirrors

A concoction of pineapple juice, lemon juice, lime juice, and orgeat, this mocktail offers a unique combination of sweet and tart flavors, finished with a smoky essence that intrigues the palate.

Disney N/A options are weak in comparison to other resorts. Juice and ginger ale is not a mocktail (IMO). There are a plethora of options: -Ready to drink, De Soi, Kin, Ghia - that could easily be sold at festivals -NA Beer that isn't St Paul or Heineken - Athletic Brewing would be a fantastic partnership in the parks and for it's Run Disney events -Spirits for mixing - Kin, Ghia, Three Spirits, Pathfinder, etc Closest I've seen to a decent N/A cocktail was at Citrico's, also excited to see what Summer House continues to do! They had a great selection when I lived in Chicago (before N/A was sort of cool).

Oga's has some good non-alcoholic options, too.
