New signage at Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover - August 2022

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom has an updated marquee sign.

The new signage updates the sponsor from Alamo to Enterprise rental cars, and drops the Tomorrowland Transit Authority line.

And here is a reminder of the old sign that has now been replaced.

Although the marquee has a simplified name, the attraction is still referred to as the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover on Disney's website and maps.

Along with the new marquee sign, the "welcome aboard" and "thanks for riding" signs have also been updated.

The new signage comes alongside the recent update to the onboard audio narration at the PeopleMover.

And what's the sacrificial quota for this ride?

BrianJun 18, 2025

For now.

Good. I'm a short woman, and it’s awkward as heck.

I could be wrong, but I think Mansion's turnstile disappeared when they installed Pepe le Queue.

I believe tiki room does still have it

They have been removed from attractions over time. First they were replaced with optical turnstiles, that basically replaced the arm for an eye that counts people. They now have overhead counters as well as well as MagicBand trackers that can get a more comprehensive look at the entire queue instead of just a count.

Don't HM, Tiki Room and others still do too? Any Magic Kingdom attraction built during the ticket book days would have them. It's where you'd give the CM your A-E ticket

According to the site that shall not be named, and CM's at the entrance, it is being manually counted for now. Automatic sensors being installed at a later date.

Everyone’s taking pictures of the new box but not looking overhead where the new counters would be located.

Blog Mickey is a couple days late. We were in MK on 6/13 (turnstile present) and 6/14 (turnstile replaced).

Yeah, I agree with the above assessment that this is probably in favor of certain guests overall. I have seen several folks have a hard time getting through the turnstile and they clearly are embarrassed by it. Hopefully this helps people access more comfortably and keeps the line moving better.

Nope, just to count the number of riders.
