Google Maps Street View of Magic Kingdom

Ever wished you could take a Google Maps Street View stroll through Disney's theme parks? Well now you can.

Google has today officially rolled-out its Street View to 11 Disney Parks, including both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. The images were collected in February 2016.

To create the images, Google used the Street View Trekker, a wearable backpack with a camera system on top. The Trekker is worn by an operator and is moved through walkways and structures, automatically gathering images. Imagery is then stitched together to create the 360-degree panoramas.

Check out Street Views of Pandora - The World of Avatar, Spaceship Earth, World Showcase, Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs, Rock n RollerCoaster.

Ahhh ok, I was wondering about the little circles you could click. That makes sense :)

I've noticed that sometimes there's bug guts or water droplets on the camera housing that consistently blurs the same spot in every photo taken...

That horse turned state's evidence and was put in the Whinnies Protection Program.

The Bolt pic was a "Photo Sphere" image uploaded by a user, not part of Google's "Street View" walkaround project (note you can't click around the picture to move to a different location). You can tell the difference because it will credit the person who uploaded it in the upper left. Photo Sphere pictures aren't anything new, and have been on Google Maps forever (they're denoted by little blue circles in the overhead view). The ability to walk through Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater while at work on the other side of the country, though, pretty sure we couldn't do that before! :D

Apparently the blurring isn't limited to humans... Hey lady, why the long face?

I have a feeling that some characters were brought out just for Google, I could be wrong though

Could you please tell me which date was that? I was on February 2016 too, but I'm not sure if it was in the same dates! I want to look for myself! lol
