Disney has lowered the age requirement for wearing masks at its Walt Disney World theme parks.

The original requirement for wearing masks was for ages 3 and up. This has now been revised to ages 2 and up, and applies with immediate effect at Disney Springs, and will also apply to the theme parks when they begin a phased reopening on July 11 2020.

The current timeline call for Walt Disney World theme parks to open beginning July 11 for Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom followed by EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15.

Disney Vacation Club properties at Walt Disney World and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will begin to reopen to Members and Guests on June 22. Disney Vacation Club properties in Vero Beach, Florida, and Hilton Head, South Carolina, will open on June 15.
