Eight hundred drones took the skies over Disney Springs early this morning for the first-ever performance of Walt Disney World's new drone show "Disney Dreams that Soar."

This morning's show was an early preview opportunity for Walt Disney World Cast Members ahead of the official debut on Friday, May 24, 2024.

Running from May 24 to September 2, "Disney Dreams that Soar" brings the Disney Springs Lake to life with larger-than-life images of classic Disney characters drones choreographed with iconic quotes from fan-favorite films such as Disney's "Peter Pan," "Dumbo," "Wall-E," "Big Hero 6," "Star Wars" and more. The show also features scores from favorite Disney soundtracks and an original song composed exclusively for this show.

Showtimes for the 9-minute show are 9 pm and 10:45 pm, with viewing areas located on Disney Springs West Side—along the waterfront between the Cirque du Soleil Theatre and Aerophile. Viewing areas for Disney Dreams That Soar will be available on a first-come, first-served basis

At least at Epcot they won't criticize anyone coming from the countries or World Celebration you cannot stand here or be here like they do at Disney Spring's. Pour Around any way you like 🤭

Why is this version not in the actual show?

The thing is like 9 minutes long… …the thing is like 9 minutes long Don’t make the piracy so “normal”, please?

Disney would be charging more than $120/person for a dessert party. I'd say that $25/person for guaranteed seating is more than fair. Whether you pay for food and drink is on you and that is separate.

I can maybe see $25 per table but $25 a person?!? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Or any nighttime show for that matter at AK. And we need drones that rise up for the “I See The Light” segments in HEA and Luminous!

TouchdownJun 12, 2024

I’m waiting for the sequel show, Disney Dreams that Roar to debut over the Asia Lake at AK.

A Christmas version perhaps?

ToTBellHopJun 11, 2024

I’m sure an extension is possible if it’s still popular by late summer or perhaps a Christmas return.
