New Encanto meet and greet with Mirabel will open at Magic Kingdom in September

Mirabel, from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto,” will begin meet and greets with guests in her magical Casita at Magic Kingdom starting September 15 2023.

Mirabel will greet guests in the former Fairytale Garden, that was previously home to Merida. 

You can now meet Merida at the Enchanted Glade Gazebo in Liberty Square. Merida's meet and greet times are 9am, 10:05am, 11:10am, 12:15pm, 2:05pm, and 3:10pm.

And the back of those Liberty Square buildings look pretty generic and not Ye Olde Colonial tymes. Especially if you enter one of them and find yourself in a 21st Century Christmas shop. It looks like it could easily be a side road off of Main Street.

I suppose it's a technicality. Once you cross over the moat, you're in Liberty Square next to the Christmas Shoppe. Visually, you still appear to be in the hub area.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek -- I actually do wonder why they bother labeling it as part of Liberty Square, though.
