Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is scheduled to close for a brief refurbishment in January 2023.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad refurbishment June 2021

The ride will be closed January 9 through January 13, with a planned reopening to guests on January 14 2023.
