I really hope they do more episodes of this show, it's become a favorite.

I learned that giraffes are as responsive to commands as cats.

This was a great series! We missed the fact it was eight episodes and were bummed to find out all of them had been released. Hopefully more are made in the future.

We really enjoyed this show, too. Kinda bummed that it was only 8 episodes.

I just wanted to do a little bump on this thread and say that this show has been an absolute delight to watch! My hubby and I have really enjoyed watching the show and have recommended it to friends and family. As someone that enjoys seeing the animals at the parks, it’s been really exciting to see certain animals featured on the show and not only recognize them but get to learn more about their daily lives! It’s also tremendously heartwarming to see how devoted the CM animal caretakers and veterinarians are. I am really hoping that Disney does more seasons of this show, and uses it as more of a means to educate and connect with guests in the parks and at home.

I really enjoyed the first episode. Between the frustration of the Cast Members trying to lure the giraffe and the elephant that listened to commands perfectly, it was a great episode.

After. I would preserve the mystery and the feeling of not being in a zoo that DAK offers. Seeing the behind the scenes makes it appear much more zoo-like.

Before! That way when they go they can be really excited to see some of the actual animals (and possibly even the keepers) featured in the series.

Would you recommend this series before or after a first tie visit to AK with a 6 and 7 year old (build excitement or create spoilers?)

Very much in line with Animal Planet's "The Zoo". I'm a fan.

I finished watching the first episode last night and I already love this series. This series makes me really respect and appreicate the amount of work the Cast Members at Animal Kingdom that most guests aren't aware of. Especially the stories about the Giraffe and Chicken.

This looks like new material, longer format stuff than the junk they've been putting up on YouTube, so good for them. Imagineering Story was unfortunately all existing footage, mostly B roll stuff, a lot of it originated on YouTube. Only the interviews were new, which had some nice tid bits here and there, but overall pretty dry. The real story of Disney and Pixar is far more interesting. We got a taste of it through A Pixar Story and Waking Sleeping Beauty, but unfortunately we don't have great Parks documentaries. Maybe there are some books out there? I can only recommend The Pixar Touch which fills in some blanks here and there.
