PHOTOS - The Plaza Restaurant to offer breakfast at the Magic Kingdom

The Plaza Restaurant on Main Street U.S.A. at the Magic kingdom will soon begin serving breakfast for a limited time.

Plaza Restaurant overview

Menu items will include a Classic All-American Breakfast featuring scrambled eggs with breakfast potatoes, sausage, bacon, a biscuit, and Mickey Waffle. There’s also the Lobster Benedict with crispy fried green tomatoes, buttery lobster, two poached eggs, and hollandaise - served with house-made breakfast potatoes. In addition, you can create your own omelet with fresh ingredients including sausage, bacon, ham, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and cheese.

Kid's options include Mickey Waffles.

The limited time offering begins November 4 2018 through to January 5 2019, and is available daily from 8am to 10:30am.

Although it is worth noting that if paying cash it is quite low priced and some entrees are as low as $15 at the Plaza, which is the same as some of the entrees at quick service places. Of course you do need to add 15-20% tip at the Plaza but it may be less stressful than Cosmic Rays!

The best way to find out what dining entitlements a Disney restaurant accepts is to look at the restaurant itself. For Plaza, pull up the restaurant website. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/magic-kingdom/plaza-restaurant/ Click "Some Dining Plans Accepted" https://i.imgur.com/UMPklIq.png A pop-up will show you what dining entitlements you can use at the restaurant.

The Plaza Restaurant is a full service restaurant and thus requires a table service credit for all meals.

How did you hear this was a table service? I booked it for December, and was hoping it was a quick service credit.

I remember breakfast at Tony's as a kid when it when it was tied into Oscar Meyer. Memories. I'll try Plaza.

Many years ago before the Crystal palace went character it was great to be able to walk in and get a good breakfast. Hope the Plaza Restaurant will be as good. Is it a walk in or do you have to make reservations light years in advance?

Didn't they serve breakfast there a long time ago? I know they used to at Tony's (!). My impression was they originally cut table service breakfast options in the park to encourage guests to have breakfast in the hotel restaurants instead...

I've always wondered why breakfast has never been offered at the Plaza to begin with. I think this will be a hit and should be considered to be moved to permanent.
