Typhoon Lagoon closed today and tomorrow due to poor weather

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park will be closed January 1 and 2 2018 due to poor weather.

The forecast suggests temperatures in the upper 50's with a reasonable chance of rain. Blizzard Beach is already closed as part of its annual refurbishment.

Due to the continuing low temperatures throughout Central Florida, Typhoon Lagoon will enter its refurbishment period early. Blizzard Beach will reopen Sunday. Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando is closed until Saturday and Aquatica at SeaWorld will reopen Friday.

We had plans to go this past Thursday and scrapped them once we stepped outside. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any real warm days before it closes next weekend. We went quite a bit though this last year, so I can't complain. I'm very curious what Blizzard's condition will be like when it reopens next Sunday since they did quite a bit of work on the park during the closure.
