Yesterday was the final day of operation for the Animation Gallery store at Disney's Hollywood Studios, with some of that merchandise now available at the Stage 1 Company Store on the Streets of America.

Located just across from Mamma Melrose and near to the exit of the Muppets, the store now carries animation cells, prints, figurines and framed art. Also expect to see an artist on-stage producing some of the artwork.

The Muppets merchandise has been moved into the main area of the store.

The Animation Gallery, pictured below, has closed as part of the redevelopment of the Magic of Disney Animation into the Star Wars Launch Bay experience, opening later this year.

Pretty well labeled on the slowest web site known to man.

It is. It's surrounded by Mama melrose, Pizza planet and Muppets 3d. But it's one of the few buildings in the park you can walk completely around without going off stage. https://www.google.com/maps/@28.354521,-81.5595109,19.87z?hl=en

and strangly that store isn't marked on the park map. But then Villians in Vogue isn't marked either.

It isn't, Stage 1 store is in a completely stand alone building.

The store being referenced is in the Muppets show building. That's where the confusion is coming from.

There is no 'Muppets' land. See the latest guide map

Which is all that really matters. I've worked at Disney too and a lot of areas are described one way or the other, but the only thing that really matters is what the guest sees and knows about.

To a guest looking at a park map, Muppet-Vision is located in the Streets of America. https://wdpromedia.disney.go.com/media/wdpro-assets/parks-and-tickets/destinations/hollywood-studios/Disneys_Hollywood_Studios.pdf

Ah got it. Thanks for the clarification and also the helpful tip.

Yes, it did at DHS. I'm talking about the Art of Animation resort.

Sorry if I am lost, but did this not just close down?

They are considered separate areas. I worked there for two years. Muppets is also a separate trash zone and the cast that works the two areas are separate. Streets of america cast are backlands while Muppets area cast are considered Icon Cast.

(It's the same except more personal and easier access... few people take advantage of it there)

(Are you saying it's the same as before the move?)
