Epcot's new Pin Traders and Camera Center will open on December 8 2019 in the former Camera Center beneath Spaceship Earth.

The Camera Center closed in early October, and the current Pin Central will be removed as part of Epcot's redevelopment. The new Pin Traders and Camera Center will combine both into one location.

Anyone see a pin shaped like a Canon camera?

rocketraccoonDec 13, 2019

They still have those photo opportunity signs around all the parks I wanna say

They “sponsor” Photopass by discounting the cameras and lenses. That’s about it.

It even has a camera brand pinned to the sign which is real surprising. Maybe Nikon would be interested in a sponcership somewhere else in the park lol.

It’s a nice, clean update that feels like Epcot Center. :)

This looks great!

BlogMickey said that Pin Central has been cleared out and has no pins for sale, but it is still open and selling random other merchandise. I wonder if Pin Central, Art of Disney, and Character Spot will close on the same date?

Is the Photopass area that was temporarily behind Pin Traders still open? It looks like they're moving from 4 stations down to 2. I'm sure they have usage data for those they can rely on.

DisneyDreamerxyzDec 08, 2019

One store having two names just seems confusing. and for a photopass location only having two stations seems like a bad idea. The photopass station at the Magic Kingdom Theatre as like 6-8 stations and even then there is usually a line at night for people wanting to look at/buy their photos. Maybe due to their contract with Nikon they had to keep the "Camera Center" name? seems outdated.

Pin Central is open today, the new location opens tomorrow I believe.

Timothy_QDec 06, 2019

I was under the impression the new name is "Pin Traders and Camera Center "

trainplane3Dec 06, 2019

Pin Central but it's actually closer to the entrance and a bit off to the right
