I'm planning a trip I May, so no discounts for us yet. That, and I'm planning on staying at the Little Mermaid rooms at the Art of Animation and it looks like they don't include those for discounts. :( oh well, I guess!

Yes

WildernessLodgeSep 28, 2018

Oh so it's possible to get free dining for just two?!

DisneyJoeSep 28, 2018

They are sample rates for marketing purposes - CALL for other party sizes and resorts

WildernessLodgeSep 28, 2018

So this is for a family of four? Darn... my bf and I are planning to go during that time so this would have been perfect.

There's a link here to see the available Chase Visa rates. I tried to update an existing reservation with the Chase rates, and couldn't through MDE, so I had to call Disney. Luckily they were able to sort it out quickly.

I haven't seen it anywhere but TA pages and MouseSavers website. But I called yesterday morning and had it applied to my April reservation. I just wish Disney didn't cut my travel dates in half. Now I'm going to have to call next promotion and probably split my reservation in two....

Great - thanks. I was able to call Reservations, and they got me a a water view at CBR for $195 a night with the Visa promotion.

I received an email with that deal.

Our TA took care of the changes for us, but I'm sure if you call Disney they could do the same. According to what I read on Mousesavers, it's not free dining. The Play/Stay/Dine discount gets you a 45% discount on the Regular Dining Plan, but room and ticket prices are not discounted. And, the tickets required for the package are the base tickets - no hopper required. This is different from the free dining deals that have been offered in the past where dining was free, but you were required to purchase the Hopper option on tickets. There is also a room only discount, but the exact discount will vary based on room type, resort, etc. I did a quick check on POFQ and the discount was only 7%.

You will not find deluxes for under $300 on Disney's website, but they exist. Also, swan & dolphin can be gotten for around $250 or less sometimes especially Jan/Feb. They come down the closer you get to the date, but availability is not guaranteed. Edit: Also, you could consider renting DVC and staying off site at this price point. My point is $200+ for moderate is not worth it with all these other options.

So, can anyone help me? I already booked an upcoming trip for Feb at Pop. Will they apply this discount to my trip if I ask? I did not do the dining plan but it sounds like it would be complimentary. Am I reading this correctly? Who do I contact? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

SchneewittchenSep 26, 2018

Yay! Just got $500 off my upcoming April trip.

I must not be looking at the numbers correctly, because I'm still showing even the least expensive deluxe rooms are $100+/night more expensive than the mods. Can you share the numbers you reviewed that have the deluxe as a better value than the mods?
