Luckily I took advantage of the early deal this year.. and got free dining for my Sept trip =D

Rista1313Apr 24, 2019

Only with the Disney Visa member offer. Not the general public offer.

Hopefully you (or someone else here) can get a good deal out of it!

My reservation says "Free Meal Offer Disney Resort Hotel Package plus Quick Service Meal". Does this include the refillable mugs?

MissVivApr 24, 2019

Yes, I believe you get the Quick Service Dining Plan with 2 meals a day and 2 snacks plus the refillable mug, correct?

Rista1313Apr 24, 2019

Found it.. looks like your absolutely right. That is a little better anyway. The one without the Visa still seems like a cheap imitation!

Rista1313Apr 24, 2019

Going to see if I can find the Visa link to find out.

aliceismadApr 24, 2019

My understanding was that it IS free dining for Visa members. The package with a meal is for non-Visa members. No?

Rista1313Apr 24, 2019

Imho it's not really free dining...it's free lunch or dinner each day... no snacks, no drink mug..... this feel like a very cheap imitation of "free dining" to me.

Free Dining is available again for Visa Card Holders. I just booked 8/18/19 for four nights at Wilderness Cabins. Not sure if we will keep the reservation because we originally wanted to go in November but there may not be any free dining in November due to Star Wars. We are not interested in Star Wars so going BEFORE that attraction opens sound good to us but not the HEAT! What do you guys think?

Just poking about a bit earlier (and the reservations pages finally came up) and there was still some availability at YC/BC, Contemporary, Poly, Grand Floridian, a couple of the Values, Coronado Springs and POR... (2 adults, Sep 15-20).

I say that it is a direct correlation to SWGE

Do you also think this has something to do with all the recent price increases? Parking at the parks, resorts, snack prices being raised, ticket prices, etc or do you think all of this has to do with Star Wars opening?

I haven’t done the Stay play and Dine for a few years. Last time we did it we saved close to $1200 IF we were to only eat at Disney and with no PH option. Don’t like how you are forced to buy the Park Hopper options. That takes away the savings too.
