Did something happen to the 40% AP discount? The rates still show when you view resort options but once you click on the resort the rate changes to the rack rate.

They want to fill the parks so that they can film their Christmas shows with crowds in the background? Make it look like Disney is a happening and safe place to visit? Just a thought.

I could be wrong, but I think this is the first discount that has included the little mermaid rooms at AOA.

Started at 5pm. After nearly 3 hours on hold I got to a very unhelpful rep (to put it lightly 😒). Hung up with her and tried calling in again. 10:30pm I reach a different rep who within 10 minutes not only identified the issue that had apparently baffled the first rep, but also was able to completely rectify it. Many thanks to her for efforts - we went from still owing ~$600 on our upcoming CBR stay all the way down to owing just $94!!🥳

I’ve been having trouble with my reservation, too. I’ve had to call to make my payments because it wouldn’t take my debit card or a Disney gift card. D today it wouldn’t change my reservation. But it finally worked. I would still wait on the phone, though, if I had to, to save $200.

Saved over $500 on our stay at CBR today! "Almost Heaven, West Virginia, blue ridge mountains, shenandoah river". 🎼🎼

Still NOT worth the price, no value in going just to ride a few rides, and very little to NO entertainment, but enjoy if you go

HouCuseChickieSep 01, 2020

They must have rounded up 🤣

SirwalterraleighSep 01, 2020

Flatline right after...was my point. 12/26-1/1 is largely irrelevant to the situation they’re in through their own admission.

AshaNeOmahSep 01, 2020

Dec 25th to Jan 2nd should be the busiest time of the year. They're hoping they don't have to offer discounts that week. That being said, if it extended to that week, I'd restore the reservation I cancelled last month from Dec 27th to Jan 2nd. It's hard to justify rack prices for New Year's when there won't be fireworks or additional entertainment.

Probably because it isn't yet open so you can't change reservations online even though it will be open by the time you get there.

SirwalterraleighSep 01, 2020

If you add 150 miles...you get 3 of the 5 largest cities in the country. Fun with maps 🤪

DisneyDeliriousSep 01, 2020

It would not for whatever reason. Going in early Dec staying at Art of Animation, barring a change on Disney’s part of hotel opening. We will still go, just not sure if it will open on schedule or not.

Is your reservation such that you can't add it online via MDE? I updated mine in several minutes on MDE.
