Disney has announced pricing and event dates and pricing for the 2024 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party season at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade

In its earliest-ever start date, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will take place over 38 nights from August 9 through October 31, 2024. It started on August 11 in 2023, August 12 in 2022, August 17 in 2018, and August 25 in 2017.

What's New for 2024

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will greet guests during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in their brand-new neon spiderweb attire.
More Villains sightings
DescenDANCE Party, taking place at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland inspired by the upcoming Disney Original Movie “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” premiering on Disney+ on July 12.
For the first time during the party, you can meet the clairvoyant character Bruno from “Encanto” alongside Mirabel at their Casita in Fairytale Garden.
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade will take place at an earlier time of 8:15 pm – perfect for those guests attending with little ones who want to enjoy the spooky fun before it’s bedtime.

As always, the party begins at 7 pm and ends at midnight, with park entry for ticket holders starting at 4 pm. The usual line-up of entertainment returns for 2024, including Mickey's Boo To You Halloween Parade, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting May 8, and tickets will be available to all guests starting May 15. Ticket prices will range from $119 - $199, up from 2023's $109 – $199.

The 2024 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party event dates are:

August - 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30
September - 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27 and 29
October - 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members may purchase specially priced tickets for a $10 discount on select dates.

As long as the parties sell out, Disney doesn’t care if it’s day of or six months out. Heck, it’s more beneficial, in some sense, to have parties not sell out immediately so fans don’t feel pressure to wake up early and purchase day of. People complain about not being able to get tickets to certain things like race weekends. The only thing that will make Disney change is if multiple parties don’t sell out.

I have found that muting/ignoring members who post the same complaints and doomsday predictions across many threads has vastly improved my experience here. I fully respect their right to air their grievances, but I only have about 17 waking hours a day and I don’t want to spend it reading the same complaints over and over again. (This is not directed at least some of the posters complaining on this thread because I can still see them, lol) Boggles my mind too. Unfortunately, I have two children who thought it was the highlight of their entire Halloween season last year, so a-treatin’ we will go. I decide to lean in and each time we get in a line I say “this is where I win all our money back,” so my kids may have some very skewed ideas about the cost of Disney trips relative to the cost of M&Ms…on the bright side, at least they don’t make me ride Tomorrowland Speedway anymore.

As opposed to “this is the best thing Disney has done!”? If more people are turning negative towards WDW, maybe that’s a sign things really aren’t all rainbows and unicorns and pixie dust? Or perhaps… PERHAPS… those “grumping” are the ones who have been supporting this company and these parks for 30-40 years (or more), have spent more than a copious amount of money over those years, and have seen what Disney is, or at least was, capable of doing on the regular and frankly aren’t all that impressed with most of what management allows WDI to churn out these days?

The balance in most threads leans more toward grumping and repeating the same negative comments. Maybe there was a time when the majority was pixie dust - not recently.

I’m trying to figure out what’s better for fans: Identifying that they have big problems..:most of which are due to failing management…and applying/encouraging pressure for positive change? Or pumping tires as if they care less that you’re loyal?

I am a fan. There needs to be some kind of balance to the inane dust snorting that too many exhibit. When they do something worth praising, I will praise it. But Rise is the last thing they've done worth praising in some way. Think about that.

It only took... *checks notes*... 2 months and 4 days for the second MNSSHP date to sell out. And only 6 weeks after they became available to the general public. I'm sure sellout announcements will be rapid-fire now, because Disney needs to can show how much demand there isn't for these overpriced events. ;)
