All those Food and Wine special dinners and tastings? Even FOTA already cut those Retro EPCOT living statues. These Festivals are shells of their former selves

Why should they? Is the unfortunate mindset that management has settled into, up until recently attendance was blossoming.

Would it kill them to bring back characters in bloom? The equity actors on the golf cart? Anything?

I'm mixed on this season. I'm actually quite excited about a number of items on the menus. But, I agree with the general sentiment. But, I'll hold out hope. I was concerned about Festival of the Arts. There were definitely fewer dishes I was excited for, though the several I had were actually all quite good.

Agreed. I would love to see world showcase clear of all the temporary kiosks. It could also be a yield management study to find a better balance between festival and non festival offerings in the park?

Which explains F&G ending on Memorial Day (May 27) this year.

A one year break would be great. I miss seeing Epcot the way it’s supposed to be sight lines not blocked every day of the year.

I think the park could use a break from them

According to sources there will be a summer break for festivals this year

I think the same people are thinking that sweets are far easier, and cheaper, to produce as it's typically just brought into the booth.

You'd think someone would have figured out by now that more savory options means more potential alcohol sales because you aren't already overloaded on carbs and sugars. 🤷‍♂️

They've been focusing more on the desserts over savory options, not a fan.
