Toledo at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort Gran Destino Tower and Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort have been added to the 2023 MICHELIN Guide Florida.

The 2023 MICHELIN Guide Florida selection includes ten new additions across Orlando and Tampa.

The guide describes Victoria & Alberts: "While it evokes a garden, its Victorian design keeps things grand. Reservations require patience to snag, but stay the course and you'll be rewarded with white-glove service."

The guide appreciates Toledo's food and its pricing, "Though certainly not inexpensive, Toledo packs less of a punch to the wallet than other Disney restaurants."

The two new additions join other Walt Disney World restaurants in the MICHELIN Guide Florida, including The Polite Pig, Citricos, California Grill, and Morimoto Asia.

I was completely unimpressed with V&A in early March 2020 just before everything closed. Went for my 50th birthday and it was disappointing. The worst part was the service.

I’ve been to two or 1 star places plenty of times that were not as good as Capa but I hear you.

V&A is a shell of itself. It went down hill around 2018. I couldn’t believe the meal or the waitress that time after going 7-8 times. It was not good.

I have a friend who goes to Michelin stared restaurants all around the world, part fun part work and he said that in his opinion no Florida restaurants should have a star, so I guess take that whatever way you want.

Unfortunately, Victoria & Albert's did not earn any Michelin stars during the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony tonight. Capa did retain its one Michelin Star.

While not unworthy, Toledo over some other WDW options surprises me. Then again, going back to Bon Appétit naming my neighborhood sandwich joint as the best new restaurant in 2017 I've mostly given up on such lists as anything more than suggestions of places to try.

Visited Otto's High Dive a couple of weeks ago, came away very impressed and pleased to see it on this updated list.

Love seeing it be mentioned too. It's been a very nice addition. As a pretty big food nerd generally, I will say, the selection for the awards and guide overall are... odd. This new list has some gems, no doubt. But, the main awards (including a total snub of Tampa) left me a little perplexed. I do think these new 8 are, for the most part, very worthy additions.

Well done, and great to see Toledo get some recognition.
