The Cap n Jacks Margarita Bar at Downtown Disney Marketplace is now permanently closed and walled off for a major refurbishment.

A brand new themed bar will open in the Marketplace as part of the Disney Springs redevelopment of Downtown Disney. No word yet on when it will open, but expect an "old Florida style" theme.

I've discovered a little secret...the musicians tend to sound better after a couple of margaritas.

I honestly will not miss the off key singing. However I'm sure the margarita bar will be back in some form in a year or so.

I hope they open an alternative soon with margarita offerings that are just as delicious. The 1800 Repasado with Cointreau and Grand Marnier made this place a favorite destination!
