TRON Lightcycle Run will continue to use a virtual queue during the Halloween and Christmas Party nights at Magic Kingdom

Disney has confirmed that TRON Lightcycle Run will continue using virtual queue boarding groups during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Fireworks burst behind TRON Lightcycle Run

An opportunity to request to join the virtual queue will be available at 6:00pm. Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter this attraction. A standby queue for this attraction will not be available during the event. Each Guest can request to enter this virtual queue no more than once per event.

This is only available for Guests on the day of the event they are attending, and their specific event tickets must be linked to their My Disney Experience account in order to join the virtual queue. Guests attending this special ticketed event do not need to be in Magic Kingdom park to request to join at the time the queue becomes available.

I would assume that, but the data suggests not necessarily. This morning has been an outlier mostly. Just looking at the past two weeks, the drops have been going pretty quick on party days (days with a green dot). This holiday season has truly thrown a wrench in whatever trends there was for the Tron VQ. I would just try to get a BG right away and/or opt for a ILL. If you really want to wait to get a later BG, maybe wait 1 second at 7am or a couple at the 1pm drops, but that in itself is very risky..

I haven't been tracking super well, but I'm assuming days with MK parties are lasting longer? 12 minutes seems like a lot for a VQ.
