According to an update on the Walt Disney World website, Soarin' Over California will be available through February 27.
Soarin' Around the World returns February 28.
"Glide through the air on Soarin’ Around the World—returning on February 28, 2024! Until then, enjoy Soarin’ Over California through February 27, 2024."

Hopefully it returns, would be nice to have both shown during the year. Even if it's just a temporary overlay similar to DCA.

It was fun while it lasted. Soarin' goes back on the skip list now. This should definitely be a seasonal thing at a minimum.

When does it start showing in CA? I know it’s soon, and may also be March 1. Maybe they need one location showing World for them to keep the US rights.

Well that sucks - I was literally loaded to ride it last December when it broke down while my wife watched the kids who were too little (she rode before me). We didn't make it back to EPCOT that trip so I never got to ride and was hoping it would stay the Cali version until out next trip. Now I'm super bummed.

↩ replying to EPCOT-O.G.The reason that score is so great is that it is obvious that Goldsmith was presented with a final movie and wrote his score to match as a cohesive whole. The score for SATW had to do the same but is an obvious patchwork of Goldsmith's original score and other scenes so it doesn't come across as an independent score in its own merits.

↩ replying to mastromjmI agree the original soundtrack is a masterpiece. Here's the problem. Goldsmith wrote his score to match the original scenes precisely. The original soundtrack wouldn't match against SATW scenes and would be awkward, no matter how wonderful that score is.
