Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is back for the 2019 holiday season, along with one of the highlights of the night, Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade.

The parade is performed twice each party night at the Magic Kingdom, beginning at 8:30pm and 11pm, stepping off in Frontierland. Here is a look at this year's parade.

Tonight’s party is sold out!

I went to the Christmas Party on 12/8. Just wanted to say that I genuinely enjoyed my experience. Rode all the rides with Christmas overlays including the first ride on the tea cups in probably oh... about 20 years 😂. I very much liked Christmas Rave Mountain ;) and they did a nice job with the Speedway. I really enjoyed the new fireworks and it actually probably elevates over Christmas Wishes for me. My mom and I got a sneaky repeat watching from Narcoosees a few days later on their patio and even without being able to see the castle projections up close, it was an enjoyable show. The castle show and parade I already knew I liked from previous years. Crowds weren’t bad. I hope everyone who goes has fun!

It started when I was on 7DMT. Felt like I was being hit with a fire hose the entire ride. Dealing with a bit of a sore throat yesterday and today after being drenched. The ride should not have been operating. I was in the queue so didn't know how bad it was. I got the card but as an out of state passholder doesn't do me much good. Not blaming Disney for weather though. Might give them a call and see if they will come up with something else.

Well, depends on if Chapek is feeling generous. He must be dancing with with money in his mouth after RoTR's success.

We went to the first party of the season. We had torrential downpours for a majority of the party.....around 85% of the time. We had to cut our time short because it got so bad and we never got that offer. BOOOOOOO!!!

It did. It was a hard down pour, with lightning and thunder, around 8pm. It stopped around 10 for fireworks. At exit they were giving out cards apologizing for the inconvenience and your party ticket has been converted to a 1 day park pass or another party in the calendar year.

We noticed the same thing. Wasn't as crowded as MNSSHP, at all, even when MVMCP was sold out. It would be interesting to see numbers comparing the parties.

Yeah and I get what they were going for. At least they tried. I much prefer the tea cups during the party.

I wouldn’t want it permanently but it seems fun for a night.

Unpopular opinion: I didn’t LOVE Space Mountain at the Xmas party. You would see way too much of the track and which way you were about to go.

Might rain tonight.

Just echoing what was said, but went to the “sold out” party on Sunday the 8th and it was emptier than any of the “not sold out” MVMCP or MNSSHP parties that I’ve been to in the last 3 years. Easily got treats, waited no longer than 15 min for any characters, no camping needed for parades or shows, and only difficulty was Space because it had been down for most of the evening. Hovered around 30 min when it was operational. Not sure if the cap was lower or if there were that many no-shows.

I think the fireworks show is so good it's moving tickets.
