New walkway opens between World Celebration and World Nature in EPCOT

Disney has taken another small step toward completing the center of EPCOT by opening a new walkway between World Celebration and World Nature.

The walkway runs alongside Journey of Water Inspired by Moana, and gives guests a quick route from Spaceship Earth to the Living Seas area.

The new path gives guests more routes through the park and will help with crowding during the busy opening and closing at EPCOT.

I've never seen Encanto or Calle play to an audience that wasn't also dancing. It's the DJ that's got to since his music more than bleeds into the rest of the hub, drowning out the ambient music and the music from a SSE mini-show. Communicore Hall is just way too barren. Coulda had a mural. Or large permanent banners like the ones in the Contemporary concourse. But right now it is this.... Interestingly, if you get lost in there, you can possible find an exit that takes you to Wonders of Life or Stitch's Great Escape.

I can respond to posts and not just use an angry reaction without engagement, thank you very much. But remember - You said I was on your ignore list. I've never, ever had a problem walking around Frontierland after dark. I bruised my shin at Epcot in late 2022 running into something in the center spine well after dark due to poor lighting. Haven't been back to the center spine after dark since, did they improve the ground lighting, specifically in the northwestern quadrant?

I feel sorry for the performers in the Encanto show... they did not write it and they seem to really try. It is just a blah Amusement park show....in a strange location for the theme. Maybe they will move over to DAK when that Tropical Americas land is complete.... Who knows....

I saw the Encanto show a while ago. It was good, once. On the same day I caught the band La Calle on that same stage and they were incredible!! Definitely worth checking out. Marie

A show fountain in place of the Mulva Planter would also add kinetics and light to the area... A focal point as opposed to random pockets of landscape and paths.... Aethetically the Planter brings absolutely noting to the table. Communicore Hall is a complete waste of space... Why even build it if they have nothng better to program the space other than a not-so-great Encanto show? What happened to the vibrant venue with tons of live entertainment? It was all just a bad idea, poorly executed... But having a show fountain in the center would certainly add a lot to that central plaza area.

I wouldn’t say Communicore hall is a disappointment, when it’s used properly like for arts festival it’s a great space. Its diet form especially is very ugly though.

I’ve walked there constantly at night and have zero issues seeing where i’m going. Frontierland on the other hand is a dim and tripping nightmare. I have stopped giving your post angry emojis per your request so give me the same courtesy and ignore my posts. Thanks.

I didn't weep for FoN. It was a show fountain that often had misaligned pipes. And no seating to watch the show, or, ... to just to sit down anywhere. And it got surrounded by concrete. And it wasn't in the exact center, and so, it became a pinch point between Communicure SE and SW. And the Southern side was one giant concrete plaza with no shade. But, to put in a new fountain? That'd be great. Especially since they're not decorating the central planter like the artist concept showed.

The central planter, the ground lights, and Communicore Hall are a huge disappointment. As well as the decision to have an evening DJ playing too loud. You think with how much EPCOT relies on the festivals, that the ancillary festival displays would be top notch. But they're not. But... everything else I think is great. I love hanging out there at night. I haven't tripped over anything. Yet.

I don't disagree that it was a cluttered disaster aesthetically but it was a minor blemish on a FAR better park and at least everything worked as designed. they never had to make extensive repairs to the fiberoptic pavement lighting outside Innoventions as far as I know, did they? Of course, the 1982 original was and remains the best version of that area,
