Construction walls are now up in DinoLand U.S.A. for Donald's Dino Bash! at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Donald's Dino-Bash!, which opens Memorial Day Weekend, is a “dino-tastic” celebration where Donald Duck takes over Dinoland U.S.A. The world’s most famous duck is celebrating his recent discovery that ducks are descendants of dinosaurs. He’s brought along feathered friends Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack, plus other Disney characters to meet guests. In addition to bringing his own decorating touch to the land, Donald puts on a nightly dance party where everyone can shake their tail feathers.

The nearby Cretaceous Trail also now closed as part of the work.

I’m usually against entertainment cuts, but I would not mind this getting cut.

Saw on Facebook Donald's Dino Bash has been cut and the last day is September 28th.

This week. LOL. And I don't believe these things go hand in hand so one wouldn't have real knowledge of the other, IMO. (meaning one division likely isn't talking to the other) I think we need to brace ourselves. I know what Martin and MansionButler said but this is exactly what they'd do. Until I get 100% confirmation on Indy going into DHS I'm going to be wary of this. LOL. Them not hearing about it isn't 100% confirmation it ISN'T happening, either.

I don't like the Corythosaur's new scarf either. Like the Donald meet they threw in earlier for it was better in allowing it to function as both a standalone photo-op and a meet and greet backdrop.

More procrastination to avoid fixing the yeti

The truck is for the dance party in the evenings.

Biff215May 25, 2018

This would fit in DinoRama, but the problem is that most of it is in the older areas of Dinoland that were actually better themed to begin with, which is why they clash IMO. To be honest, I think it looks better in pictures than the concept art, but it's still a bit much. If they had kept it completely inside DinoRama, I don't think it would be as bad. What is the purpose of the truck, just signage? Does it move? Just seems like it was thrown in there haphazardly. Probably spent more on that than everything else combined!

My kids love Dinoland and I dig the tackiness of it so I'm actually looking forward to it next week. My feelings won't be hurt when it's re-themed, but I'm cool with it for now in the interim.

I think this is cute. So much better than camp Minnie Mickey.

Indy isn’t going in AK. Lol.

I'd rather have this than Pixar Pier.

I hope this continues until mid-September at least. I've never managed to meet Scrooge and he's one of my favorites. It is kinda tacky though. They could at least made a bit more effort to tie the characters into the land. Maybe instead of Chip & Dale -who can be found elsewhere- they should have used the nephews and tied the thing to Ducktales. Something like "Donald takes his nephews to celebrate their dinosaur routes and Scrooges tags along looking for treasure/precious fossils". Boom, IP tie-in. Hire me, disney.

I just don't get why the tacky new signage is necessary. They can throw as many characters as they want in Dinorama but please don't make it look worse than it already does.
