Disney has shared a look inside the new Country Bear Musical Jamboree opening this summer at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

In the video, we go behind-the-seams with Sara Landesberg, an Audio-Animatronic Costumer with Disney Live Entertainment who is helping bring these new show to life. Sara works coordinating the different teams that come together to create a complete garment, hat, or any item that ends up being center stage for the jamboree —including every single rhinestone that is hand-placed across the big-frills costumes.

Bunny, Bubbles, and Beulah — and the rest of the Country Bears —  are getting ready to put on a new show that pays homage to the Opry-style shows of Nashville. While the Country Bear Musical Jamboree will include easter eggs from the beginning to the end including a familiar tune fans may remember, the bears will sing new, reinterpreted Disney tunes in different genres of country music – like bluegrass, pop-country, Americana, rockabilly, and other styles.

These hours may change as the reopening date gets closer, but here’s what Disney has added for operational hours for the show beginning July 17:

It’s a very weird song by modern standards, regardless of one’s political leanings. I can’t imagine there are many parents out there who would want their children being serenaded with the words “Give her a slap, give her a cuff”.

They should have classic Disney Bear songs…my vote is for the Humphrey Hop (aka “Put it in the Bag”) Sadly, I think the ultra-progressive parasites would go nuts if Disney used “Say It With A Slap”.

I always like to warn people of this whenever TDR comes up. We were there last summer and almost no food options or available the first hour or two in DisneySea, and then many/most food venues had closed before the night parade even started. 😭

It's crazy to say but it looks like wdw is less complicated to book as well. You have to make multiple bookings if you want to spend more than two nights in a tokyo Disney hotel. And the packages each come with 3 day park tickets, so you wind up with more tickets than you need. You have to pre book ur fp and ur meals. To me it seems like more planning than wdw.

Do they have limited hours in Tokyo? I’ve never been sadly.

I’m happy that food vendors open earlier and stay open later, and the food queues are often shorter…but overall TDR is superior to WDW, especially for merchandise.

Are you the only person that is happy about that?

Okay lol.

WDW isn't Tokyo.

While I think Whole New World is a weird choice for this, apparently it's popular with Astro and Oriole fans, who are voting in which song to hear in the 7th inning stretch during the Astros' princess Day...

My niece would've loved some. She has the pressed coins. Unfortunately, the little of what we've seen the past few years has been for adults.

If they don’t turn that portion of the shop across the way from Grizzly Hall into a store filled with CBJ merchandise (on the level of Tokyo Disneyland’s), they are missing out big time. CBJ merch sells like hot cakes over in Tokyo.

Must these uncreatives ruin everything!
