Disney has today announced that the new Cirque show at Disney Springs will begin previews on March 20 2020.

The show will then officially open April 17 2020. Tickets are on sale now at the official site with pricing beginning at $62 and up to $152 depending on seating.

This original show will be created by Cirque du Soleil and will pay homage to Disney’s rich history of animation, with a vivid story told in a way that only Cirque du Soleil can deliver. Daniel Lamarre, President and CEO of Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, elaborated, sharing “We are incredibly inspired by Disney’s immense creative universe. We are convinced that bringing Disney’s magic to life on stage will touch audiences and bring them back to their childhood.”

Okay we decided to go on our trip. We want to stay in the $85 sections, which one would be the best?

Well, something vantablackish, they were practically invisible.

Are you sure they used vantablack? Didn't know it was available in any cloth...

I was there tonight! They couldn't get the two double wheeled apparatus up into the recess of the stage's attic. At least at first. It took about 10-15 minutes, then the show continued. It was hard to tell what was happening with the stage hands wearing vantablack cloaks. Good thing my camera has a low light and zoom settings so I could see what they were working on. Lotta people took a potty break.

No not really. There really isn't a bad seat in that theater the way it's designed.

Would the $85 seats at the bottom level to the side be an awful viewing experience?

Does anyone know if the soundtrack is available to buy/stream?

Yeah we may make reservations at a Disney Springs restaurant instead.

What acts did these replace from the original concept? Someone said they had Diablos in the show

90 minutes with no intermission...you'll be pushing it.

Cant wait for our next trip for this. Cirque always has been on our list of Must Do's when we go to WDW. Sadly we had plans made when it was shut out by covid and we didnt have the opportunity to see the new production. Well worth the ticket price.

It's 90 minutes, so definitely try to push it back if possible.
