Disney's Animal Kingdom is hosting an after-hours park event for the Special Olympics USA Games on Thursday June 9 2022, resulting in an early close for day guests.
The park will close at 6pm for day guests on Thursday, June 9, with the private event then taking place from 6pm to 10pm.
Many of the Special Olympics USA Games guests will begin arriving in the park from 4pm, so expect crowds to increase later in the day.
Disney's Animal Kingdom park hours for June 9 are 7:30am to 6pm, with Early Entry for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests beginning at 7am.
Taking place through June 11, the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games is using a number of Walt Disney World venues, including ESPN Wide World of Sports, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
