"Surprised it was so good"

We checked in to our hotel early and then headed to the Studios. Everyone was starving so we hit the first place we saw for food. That just happened to be Fairfax. My husband got the BBQ sandwhich and really enjoyed it, which is amazing because he typically doesn't like BBQ. I got the chicken, it was wonderful and was so tender it literally fell of the bone, I mean I had to actually eat it with a fork. The coleslaw was yummy, and I am picky about my coleslaw. I think the kids got BPJ's and they were fine.

DH decided to share a chicken and ribs platter here during our last trip, and we were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The chicken was moist and the ribs were pretty good for fast food at a theme park. This is definitely worth visiting while at Hollywood Studios.

Our first stop after arrival at WDW was to try one of the new gourmet hot dogs at Fairfax Fare.
First we were "greeted" by a CM who was resting his head on the counter and wouldn't even say hello to us. We ordered the Mac & Cheese with Truffle hot dog and the BBQ Pulled Pork hot dog. Both were very tasty!!
We were deciding whether to order 2 drinks or 1 large drink, and decided upon 1 large soda to share, but the CM charged us for 2 and almost argued with us about it. The manager on duty came by to fix the mistake.

Had the chicken & ribs twice last week and enjoyed both times very much. One time the ribs were smaller pork ribs and I think better than the larger beef ribs. Good change from the other park fare.

My husband and I had the Fairfax Fare salad and we both enjoyed it. It was a change of pace from the typical/boring chicken salad everywhere. It has chili.
